TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) - An appearance by television host Bill Nye will highlight grand opening activities for the new Terre Haute Children's Museum.

The museum says the host of the educational PBS series ``Bill Nye, the Science Guy'' will put on a free demonstration Sept. 25 at the new museum in downtown Terre Haute.

Museum officials plan several activities Sept. 24-26 as it moves into a 26,000 square-foot building that is nearly nine times bigger than the old museum that was closed last month.

The new museum will include a dinosaur dig cave, a two-story tree house with telescopes and slides and a large agricultural exhibit.
