HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) _ Court records show a couple has been charged with obtaining property worth hundreds of thousands of dollars from a man with dementia. Daniel Meldron is charged with five counts of obtaining property of a vulnerable adult $500 plus and theft scheme $500 plus. Angie Meldron is charged with obtaining property of a vulnerable adult over $500 and vulnerable adult abuse/custodian. The investigation began last year after the man's neighbors told authorities he was living in unsanitary conditions without food or heat. ___ |
