LAS VEGAS - On Dec. 20, Kruse International will present the opportunity to bid on four celebrity-owned automobiles and aircraft in the auction portion of their 35th Las Vegas Car Collector Auction & Show, at the South Point Hotel and Casino. Those who cannot attend in person can preview the auction catalog and bid absentee or live online through LiveAuctioneers.com. Headlining the celebrity section of the sale are Elvis Presley's Lockheed Jetstar, Pamela Anderson's customized "LoveStream" Trailer Lounge and two of Wayne Newton's personal vehicles: a 1982 Mercedes Benz and a 2001 Jaguar. Starting today and continuing till Dec. 20, bidders can log on to www.LiveAuctioneers.com to place absentee bids. When the sale begins, bidders may then participate in the auction in real time via the Internet.
Pamela Anderson's "Love Stream" Trailer Lounge The trailer's customization was documented in its entirety for the SPEED Channel's hit show Unique Whips, in which New York-based Unique Autosports customizes A-list cars for A-list celebrities. Pamela will appear in person to support the auction of her "Love Stream" trailer during Kruse International's 35th Las Vegas Car Collector Auction & Show, where she will also be shooting scenes for her E! Channel reality show Pam, Girl on the Loose.
Elvis Presley's 1962 Lockheed Jetstar The 1962 Lockheed jet that will be up for auction is one of only 204 aircraft manufactured between 1957 and 1978 in a private project between Jetstar and Lockheed. This aircraft has never been restored and features original external painting and detailing, as well as original interior. The jet is the only airplane once belonging to Elvis that is still in private hands. It is expected that the jet will bring between $700,000 and $2 million at auction. This aircraft is considered by many Elvis fans as one of the greatest attractions in the world, and it would be a substantial addition to any museum, amusement park, entertainment center or private collection. The engines have been removed from the jet, but can be purchased for an amount ranging between $10,000 and $35,000, depending on condition.
Wayne Newton's 1982 Custom Mercedes
Wayne Newton has owned an array of beautiful and expensive vehicles including Duesenbergs, unique Chevrolets, Chryslers and Rolls-Royces, among others. Now car collectors and fans will have the opportunity to bid on Newton's personal Mercedes and Jaguar during Kruse International's 35th Las Vegas Car Collector Auction & Show. Click here to view the online catalog, to leave an absentee bid, or to sign up to bid through LiveAuctioneers.com on auction day.
