MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa - Time waits for no man. Antique clock collector Rich Chandler of Barrington, Ill., stashed away wristwatches over the last 30 years. His estate includes 600 wristwatches, which Tom Harris Auctions will sell July 10 beginning at 10 a.m. Central. Chandler's clock collection will sell at the Tom Harris Auction Center on July 11 at 10 a.m. Central. LiveAuctioneers.com will provide Internet live bidding for both sales.

A prime example of the quality seen in the wristwatch collection is lot 259, a gentleman's 18K gold Rolex Oyster wristwatch with superlative chronometer and original box. Another highlight is lot 140, an Omega Speedmaster Chronograph, the first model wristwatch worn by NASA astronauts to the moon.

Also included are a Tiffany eight-day Swiss-made brass travel alarm clock with a hinged-ring stand and a Tiffany sterling silver travel alarm in a flat-folding hinged case.
