A uction Central News welcomes your content submissions to our site. Our goal is to provide the auction, design and collecting communities with the most timely and appropriate content possible.
But we can't do it without your submissions. If you are an auction house or other company whose content would be of interest to our readership, we encourage to you to submit your press releases and other timely information to Auction Central News through this easy-to-use form.
To use the form, simply paste your content into the "Content" field, then complete the contact information fields and include up to 5 images (JPEG or GIF format only; 500K filesize maximum each). Click the button to complete the process.
NOTE: We can only accept material that is formatted as a press release; we are not able to create press releases for you from lists of auction inventory or copy pulled from print ads. Thank you for understanding.
1. Provide a properly written release in Word document format, making sure the following basics are included: headline, title of sale, general categories, a few highlight pieces from the sale (with presale estimates, if desired), a few quotes from the auctioneer or auction house specialist, and contact information (telephone, e-mail) for publication. The ideal length is 5-7 paragraphs.
2. Provide 4 to 6 jpeg images, each sized no larger than 800kb.
3. Include captions or brief I.D.s for each of the images, making sure they can be matched up easily with the images. The best way to accomplish this is to give each image a file name that describes it, e.g., TiffanyLamp.jpg, Picasso.jpg, etc.
